Objectives   To provide learners with an advanced understanding of legal provisions on health and
safety in work environments.

- Indicate adequate measures to be followed in emergencies
Contents   - List methods apt to prevent risks in work environments
- Definition and elements of an Emergency Plan
- The practical indications of the Plan
- How to identify hazards
- Fire causes and hazards
- The measures apt to prevent fire hazards
- Protection measures and emergency systems
- Emergency lights and escape routes
Structure  

The course includes one teaching module comprising the following training units:

Module 1

Unit 1 Test in
Unit 2 Web fiction
Unit 3 Lesson with practice slides
Unit 4 Job game
Unit 5 Knowledge Map
Unit 6 Test out
Unit 7 Job aid
Target   - First-experience workers
- Human Resources Departments
Duration   2 hours 30 minutes if attended singularly
4 hours 30 minutes if attended in combination with the preparatory course “Safety and Health
