Knowledge Maps

Description
Knowledge maps are brief lessons comprising graphical representations of concepts or processes. They are composed of elements – known as nodes – and links.
Links represent the relations between the elements of the Map.

Interactivity
Maps allow learners to gradually find out the relations among the contents through a series of animations.

Graphics and Animations
The graphics and animations used for Knowledge Maps entail the use of a visual vocabulary comprising diagrams (simple vector graphics) and on-screen text capable of conveying concepts by combination.

Multimedia
Knowledge maps come with:
_ Sound with the recorded voice of a professional actor
_ Synchronization of on-screen elements with the audio commentary
_ Sound effects

Knowledge maps do not include any practice slides.
The viewer reflects the setting of the course and contains not only the navigation buttons but also the “printable version” of the course – allowing learners to have a version of the slides on paper.
