Safety manager training

Purpose

The course supplies the student with operational knowledge of the contents of Legislative Decree no. 81/2008 and successive modifications, on the subject of additional training for the safety manager.
The course, in conformance with the provisions of the Permanent Conference on Online Training of 21 December 2011, fulfils the additional training obligation for the safety manager under points 1 to 5 of Article 5 of the Agreement.

The course has been produced in collaboration with experts of IRSA Servizi e Formazione, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ANIA, the National Association of Insurance Companies.

Learning objectives

At the end of the course the student will be able to:

  • Understand his/her own tasks and responsibilities
  • Recognise risk factors and provide for the use of established protection and prevention measures

Target students

Safety managers, office directors, department supervisors, area managers, sector managers, division managers of small, medium and large companies both public and private.

Envisioned study time: 4 hours

  • The central nature of the safety manager’s role (Multimedia Lesson)
  • The principal figures of the prevention system (Multimedia Lesson)
  • The Employer’s auxiliary figures (Multimedia Lesson)
  • Relations between the various internal and external subjects (Multimedia Lesson)
  • Identification of risk factors (Multimedia Lesson)
  • Risk evaluation (Multimedia Lesson)
  • Accidents and near misses (Multimedia Lesson)
  • Employee communication and awareness (Multimedia Lesson)
  • Final test (Test)
